Back to Arkino

Arkino is a movie-discovery tool. We try to keep the data we hold to the minimum we actually need. This page lists what gets stored, where, and how to revoke our use of any of it.

Stored on our server

Traversals you complete are saved as anonymous training data — query text, the sequence of movies you looked at, and the one you picked. No user identifier is attached.

If you sign in with TMDB, we also keep your TMDB account id, the country and streaming services you select, and the optional profile fields (birth year, gender, taste description). You can delete this by signing out and revoking the TMDB session from your TMDB account settings.

Third parties

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. See TMDB API terms.

Query text you type into Arkino is sent to OpenAI to produce an embedding used for graph navigation. Hosting and request logs run on Google Cloud.

Your controls

To remove your TMDB-linked profile, sign out from the Account drawer and revoke the session in your TMDB account settings.
